We are currently searching for an energetic, dynamic, passionate and experienced General Manager to take the helm of the only two Relais & Châteaux Hotels in London, 11 Cadogan Gardens and the recently opened Chelsea Townhouse.
Collectively made up 99 rooms, suites and apartments, stradling two sides of Cadogan Gardens you will also be responsible for our neighborhood restaurant 'Hans' Bar & Grill' on the vibrant Pavilion Road and a number of small but special internal private event areas.
Part of The Iconic Luxury Hotels Family you will charged with delivering our unique style of hospitality, Iconic service standards and our financial targets by continuing to develop a highly motivated, engaged and focussed team of hospitality professionals.
The General Manager is fully responsible for all aspects within 11 Cadogan Gardens & The Chelsea Townhouse in the hotels restaurants, bars & lounges, kitchens, meeting rooms, effectively managing all resources.
- The General Manager is responsible for delivering the annual budget by driving sales, focusing on revenue opportunities, and controlling all costs to ensure that the budgeted GOP percentage is achieved.
- The General Manager is responsible for the creation and delivery of the hotel’s Business Objectives, ensuring that these are reviewed and monitored as part of the departmental monthly strategic meetings.
- The General Manager is responsible for ensuring that the hotel is compliant and achieves exemplary health and safety standards.
- The General Manager will need to lead the Cadogan Gardens Collection management team, be representative of modern management practises, and indirectly supervise of employees of the hotel promoting a positive, engaging, and can-do service culture in all areas of the business.
- The General Manager will be a local ambassador and be part of local community activities.
- The General Manager will be pivotal in raising the profile of the Cadogan Gardens Collection by attending local & regional industry events.
- Effectively leads the team through business growth.
- Guides the financial management of the organisation.
- Aligns department goals and resources to meet the performance and financial objectives of the hotel.
- Helps others understand the drivers of the Hotel’s financial success and commercial strategy.
