Spa Cafe Manager – About you

• Management experience in café / restaurant environment is essential
• Confidence in managing in a team in a fast paced environment
• Barista experience is essential
• Ability to work calmly under pressure in an organised manner
• Experience in delivering training, writing rotas and team management
• Pro-active and passionate for your work and communication with colleagues
• Enthusiastic about hospitality and 5 star service
• Keen eye for detail and flexible attitude

Aim of the Spa Cafe Manager role 

Oversee and run the Pool Bar on a day to day basis working closely with the Food and Beverage Operations Director. To implement and develop new ideas to ensure the Pool Bar is a success

Key responsibilities of the Spa Cafe Manager:

• Effectively day to day management to ensure smooth operation in the Pool Bar
• Lead by example to ensure the team delivers high level of 5 star service at all times
• Serve members and guests with a personalised service to build rapport and excellent service
• Make coffees, juices, light bites and health dishes from the Pool Bar kitchen
• Be main point of contact for trouble shooting and problem solving with team and guests
• Be confident in preparing the staff rotas and manage the holidays to ensure enough staff cover
• take ownership in ensuring that the kitchen always works to the food hygiene regulations and guidelines.
• Attend daily meetings to understand any guest requirements and special requests for the day
• Be passionate in creating and developing new promotional ideas to generate revenue and create a buzz in the Pool Bar
